Question and answer
What is the difference between grouping and stereotypes?
Stereotyping has a discriminatory connotation that deals with race, gender, ethnicity, religion, culture, or language. Grouping is simply placing people in groups for the purpose of demographic study. Everybody as a whole. [ Where stereotyping is the way that people in your everyday life look at you and make assumptions by just what they see. I have a good example of stereotyping that you see
in your everyday life. When everybody says that blondes are dumb. There are a lot of smart people that are blonde. I am not a blonde, but I don't like when people say that. Some people could have been born with brown hair and liked the way that blonde hair looked and just dyed their hair. Even though there are some people that make that statement look true; it is still not nice to say. The experiences of the class mates are the same as my experiences. We hear people stereotyping people all the time. ]
