3(x-4) +x = 2(6+2x) ;
3x -12+x = 12+4x ;
4x-12 = 12+4x ;
4x-4x = 12 + 12
x = 0

So the value of x = 0

3x-12+x=12+4x
4x-12=4x+12
4x-4x=12+12
0=24
But we all know that 0 is not equal to 24,
therefore, there is no answer for the equation.
