The problem associate with popular diets are that they are designed to be used for a specific period of time to lose weight with. They are not realistically sustainable ways for people to live their lives, so typically when people go on diets they lose weight and gain it all back again.

The only true way to lose weight and keep it off is make simple lifestyle changes that you can follow over the course of your entire life, rather than depriving yourself for a period of time with a diet.
