C. Advances in technology are making people less social. The technology is developing more everyday causing people to become less social. The world is shifting to 140 character status updates. [ Quick insights at a moment in time about an individual, a quick picture, maybe a short video. That is not communication. The social network phenom is creating a self satisfying way to calm our minds
of curiosity on what others are doing, if they are still alive, where they live in short, meaningless and emotionless statuses. Our grandparents and parents tell us stories about their childhood where they went out everyday with their friends, got to know people their behaviours, they learnt about life from experience whereas these days we all choose to stay in, instead of going cinema we watch films at home, instead of meeting up for a coffee we choose msn, instead of going out for a walk we choose a console. The technology has taught people that there isn't a need to get out your house at all as you can order your shopping, talk to people, watch films and practically do anything without moving off your sofa. This has led to people spending most of their time at home and become less social . ]
