Question and answer
What are the effects of government-sponsored health care programs for special populations - children, older adults, patients with specific diseases, and so forth - on health care costs and health
care access?
They should lower health care cost. A government program receives funding, and as with all things, quantity drives cost down. [ When you have a program that brings in millions of people demanding the same service, than that service is usually provided at a cheaper rate. ]
