Describe the two ways that Earth moves in space.
There are two ways in which the Earth moves which are by rotation and revolution. Rotation of the earth is when it spins on its own axis around the sun to the east. The earth rotates on its own axis for 24 hours and this causes day and night. [ Revolution is when the seasons are caused by the tilting of the Earth's rotational axis toward or away from the sun as it travels through its year-long
path around the sun. ]
