Question and answer
Q: what is the setting of cricket boy?
A: Cheng-Ming was just a head villager that was delegated. The theme of the story to me is Cricket fighting. They had to please the magistrate who had to please the emperor. [ So Cheng-Ming was determined to find good crickets by going out from first light till night to get the best ones. But ultimately failed, and was punished. But all the head villagers (except Cheng-Ming) would make the poor
villagers go search for the crickets because the punishment was harsh if they failed. But Cheng-Ming didnt want to do that which is why he searched himself. ]
