Question and answer
how can i make my girl friend stop being shy to hold my hand or even touch me
The most important thing is not to push her to do these things before she is ready. You should talk to her about it and be encouraging and supportive. [ Depending on how she feels, you can try practicing holding hands for a short time when the two of you are together or perhaps in a small group of friends. As she comes to know and trust you more, she will be less shy. ]

Try everytime you first see her to gently take her hand and kiss it. Like a prince does a princess. . This will get her to slowly open up to the idea of you holding her hand for longer periods of time. You could always kiss her forehead after you kiss her hand. That will get her used to being touched. You have to be careful not to push as there may be something in her background that is causing her resistance (a rape, child abuse/molestation, witness to sexual acts by others, etc...) Try having a talk with her and explaining to her that you want to show her affection but don't want to scare her or make her feel like you are pushing her. Explain to her what being a boyfriend is in your opinion and what being a girlfriend is in your opinion. Tell her you want to take things slowly with her but affection is something that you need. Holding hands is a very small requirement of a relationship.

Thats simple! Talk! You talk about what you are looking for in a relationship! If you have allready done that then the next step is to sit back and enjoy the ride! When the ride slows down you discuss new ways to get the ride going again! When the ride goes too fast, then you discuss how to slow it down a bit. The key to a new relationship is communication. Constant communication is key and it is always important to totally be YOURSELF!

what is the first thing to do when you start a relationship with a girl?
Weegy: When starting a relationship with a girl, it is a good idea to take things slowly. Start by talking and becoming good friends. Be honest and be yourself so she can see what you are like. Also remember, most girls like boys who can make them laugh. (More)

how often should i call my girl friend or see her in a week in a new relationship?
Weegy: That depends on what type of person she is. I think a couple times a week is a good start to call. Same goes with seeing her, unless you work together. [ If she uses a social networking site you could always pop by and comment her page letting her know you are thinking about her or that you cant wait to see her! That way you are not "calling her". ] (More)
