Question and answer
1. Explain why teaching and learning give life and meaning to the curriculum.
A curriculum is a set of courses, including their content, offered at a school or university. [ The curriculum often contains a detailed list of subjects and the elements of teaching them...........In elementary schools, the curriculum is primarily drawn by the educational boards or some central society. They study the needs of the kids and all other feasibilities before selecting courses and
drafting a curriculum. Here, the students have least choice in their subjects and study based on a universal curriculum, which works on all sections of the students’ psyche and aid in the total development of the student. 1. Describe the data that you have gathered from your community survey.
Weegy: When community groups want to take action, influence policy, change things around, or shake things up, a community survey is an effective way to find out what people are thinking and how they feel. [ The Laboratory for Community and Economic Development has developed an online, Internet-based survey tool to help your community: Gather information about people’s attitudes and opinions. Find out how residents rank issues, problems and opportunities in order of importance and urgency. Give local people a voice in determining policy, goals and priorities. Determine resident’s support for initiatives. Evaluate current programs and policies. End speculation about "what people are thinking" or "what people really want." Community surveys can help leaders build a foundation for community and economic development. This web-based tool describes a nine-step process for conducting a survey in your community. This survey tool can be helpful as you set priorities for your survey, determine sample size, evaluate surveying techniques, and identify questions. ] (More)

why do you think teacher is a professional teacher User: why teacher is a prefessional teacher? User: Can you find other teachers who are professional teachers among the teachers whom you know?
Weegy: Yes, [ I do find other teachers who are professional teachers among the teachers whom u know. There's a lot of professional teachers around the world who are willing to share their knowledge to each and everyone who is willing to learn. Teaching is hard work and some teachers never grow to be anything better than mediocre. They do the bare minimum required and very little more. The great teachers, however, work tirelessly to create a challenging, nurturing environment for their students. Great teaching seems to have less to do with our knowledge and skills than with our attitude toward our students, our subject, and our work. Although this list is certainly not all-inclusive, I have narrowed down the many characteristics of a great teacher to those I have found to be the most essential, regardless of the age of the learner: 1. A great teacher respects students. In a great teacher s classroom, each person s ideas and opinions are valued. Students feel safe to express their feelings and learn to respect and listen to others. This teacher creates a welcoming learning environment for all students. 2. A great teacher creates a sense of community and belonging in the classroom. The mutual respect in this teacher s classroom provides a supportive, collaborative environment. In this small community, there are rules to follow and jobs to be done and each student is aware that he or she is an important, integral part of the group. A great teacher lets students know that they can depend not only on her, but also on the entire class. 3. A great teacher is warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. This person is approachable, not only to students, but to everyone on campus. This is the teacher to whom students know they can go with any problems or concerns or even to share a funny story. Great teachers possess good listening skills and take time out of their way-too-busy schedules for anyone who needs them. ] User: characterestic of professional taechers Weegy: ... (More)
