According to the World Wildlife fund, humanity is already using nearly 50% more natural resources than the Earth can replenish. Under a "business-as-usual" scenario, [ by 2050 people are predicted to be using twice as many natural resources than the Earth can replenish. The WWF was established on April 29, 1961. ]
