analyse features of the environment that may help or hinder communication
The movement of air, as wind, carries sound. The wind can çarry sound in your direction and enable you to hear the sound, voices, music, whatever, as clearly as if it were much closer than it is. [ So in this way the environment is helping communication. It çan work the other way, too, e.g. if someone you are calling out to over a distance is standing in the opposite direction to a strong wind,
your voice will be carried away from them, and you. ]
