If f(x) = 3x2 + 2x, find f(-2). **Weegy:** **User:** The sum of the exterior angles in a polygon is 360°. **Weegy:** The exterior angles of a polygon add to 360? This is only true if:
(a) You take only one per vertex, [ and
(b) Take all the angles that point in the same direction around the polygon.We know the sum of straight angles at the vertices of a convex n-gon is n(180?).
We know the sum of the interior angles of a convex n-gon is 180?(n-2).
Therefore the sum of the exterior angles of a convex polygon could be represented by:
n(180?) - 180?(n-2).
Factoring the expression, we get: 180?[n ? (n-2)].
Simplifying, we get 180?(n ? n + 2) = 180?(2) = 360?.
Thus, the sum of the exterior angles of a convex polygon is 360?.
] **User:** Which of the following is not a property of all parallelograms?
The opposite angles are congruent.
The opposite sides are congruent.
The consecutive angles are supplementary.
The consecutive sides are congruent. **User:** What is the vertex of a parabola whose equation is y = (x + 3)2? **Weegy:** The vertex of a parabola is the point where the parabola crosses its axis. If the coefficient of the x2 term is positive, the vertex will be the lowest point on the graph, the point at the bottom of the ?U?-shape. [ If the coefficient of the x2 term is negative, the vertex will be the highest point on the graph, the point at the top of the ?U?-shape.
The standard equation of a parabola is
y = ax2 + bx + c.
But the equation for a parabola can also be written in "vertex form":
y = a(x ? h)2 + k ] **User:** A pyramid has a square base that is 10 inches on a side.
If the height of the pyramid is 12 inches, then its volume is 40 cubic inches (More)

If f(x) = 3x^2 + 2x

f(-2) = 3*(-2)^2 + 2*(-2)

f(-2)= 8

f(-2) = 3*(-2)^2 + 2*(-2)

f(-2)= 8

The statement is false.

His popularity was such that had he run he would have won. He felt that no one should stay in power too long and also had concerns regarding his wife's health. It is also possilbe that he was feeling the drain on his health as he remarked that he was old for his years shortly before his death in 1933.

A circle has a diameter with endpoints of ( 7, - 9 ) and ( 5, 3 ). (6 , -3) is the center of the circle.

Let the center is (a ,b)

a = ( 7 + 5 ) / 2 = 6

b = ( - 9 + 3 ) / 2 = -3
