The Russian Revolution was the result of which three main factors?

Germany, then called Prussia, was allied with Austria-Hungary and they went to war against Russia. Russia's military was backward. The Russian army was getting killed, literally and the military began deserting and returning to Russia. The revolution arose from all these groups. The communists, called the Bolsheviks were a part of the revolution. the communists were strong in the labor unions and other worker organizations in Russia's small industrial base, all located around the key cities of St. Petersburg and Moscow. There were two revolutions, both in ... (More)
