Can you please give me a short afrikaans speech for school?
Weegy: Hey there, I can try to help. My hubby is from the UK and I try to teach him Afrikaans. :D One of the things he says about Afrikaans is that the sentence structure makes it sound like Yoda speak. [ Thus... "Today I tell you..." won't be the way you wrote it. It would rather be "Today tell I for you" and in Afrikaans: "Vandag vertel ek vir julle..." "Omdat in drie maande sal ons in verskillende rigtings gaan" You can leave out the "wil" like I did there, it sounds like you will want to leave by then. :D Medeling? Hmm, I don't even know that word... I suppose you say "I share with you"? In that case... "Ek deel met julle..." "...wil julle van my herinner" would sound better as "julle my sal onthou." "televisie wag" sound like you wait for the TV. With crappy programming, I don't blame you for saying that. :D But if you want to say you watch TV... "televisie kyk" "tyd aan Facebook bestee" - spend time on Facebook. There lacks a "te" somewhere in the party with friends phrase... "My pa is 'n rekenmeester." etc. "moet ek na een van Suid-Afrika se beste universiteite toe gaan" "...my drome sal behaal..." "Onthou altyd: Moet nooit opgee en droom groot" would make a nice ending there. Best of luck to you! ] (More)
