The late Professor Louis Grant (1913-1993) was a microbiologist and pathologist that worked at the University of the West Indies. He along with Dr. Ronald Lampart, created a mass vaccination for Tuberculosis in Jamaica. He also did ground-breaking for disease like Leptospirosis, Equine Encephalitis and Dengue Fever.
