Why are your eyes two diffrent colors
Weegy: Generally eye color is based on how much melanin a person has. Melanin is a color pigment and so the less of it you have the lighter the color of your eyes will be. This also applies to your hair color. [ Dark skinned people have dark colored eyes because melanin affect both hair color and eye color and it is only rare that people would have dark colored eyes with light colored hair and vise versa. Eye colors do not serve different purposes, people with a dark eye color does not mean they can see farther than those of lighter eye color or a lighter eyed people do not see more detail.etc. Once again it is just a color pigment and eye color simply depends on how much of that pigment a person can generate. ] User: What does it mean when your eyes are not the same color User: Why is one of your eyes blue and the other one green (More)

It is called Heterochromia.
Heterochromia of the eye is of two kinds. In complete heterochromia, one iris is a different color from the other. In partial heterochromia or sectoral heterochromia, part of one iris is a different color from its remainder.
Eye color, specifically the color of the irises, is determined primarily by the concentration and distribution of melanin. The affected eye may be hyperpigmented (hyperchromic) or hypopigmented (hypochromic). In humans, usually, an excess of melanin indicates hyperplasia of the iris tissues, whereas a lack of melanin indicates hypoplasia.
