It is not animal nor vegetable nor mineral nor gas. It is something you can see but not touch. The more you add the less the bucket weighs. What is it?" With those parameters the answer can only be 'holes'. Holes are not animal, vegetable, mineral nor gas, you can see the hole but you cannot touch the hole (only the bucket where the hole starts) and, the more holes you put in the bucket the less the bucket weighs (provided you drill the holes instead of punching them with a sharp pointed object; punching the holes does not remove material). The question was once used in a movie but I cannot remember the name of the movie right now. Good luck and enjoy!
