How would you draw a particle diagram to show how ear defenders work?
To draw a particle diagram to show how ear defenders work, First you need to draw what they will look like, colour and label it. Then you have to explain why they are good for blocking sound.
You can start with the drawing and choosing the materials. [ A plastic outer case would be good because it will reflect the sound.
Then you need to think about a filling and why they work. You need to use
science about the sound waves, vibrations, amplitude, pitch, reflecting and absorbing, particle diagrams and all of that stuff.
Then I would draw a couple of straight lines with a space between and put dots to represent filler material between the lines. you can label the particles between as sound absorbing material but they can be scattered better than I can do it on the computer. You may want to label the lines I have drawn as "outside of ear defender."
