Calling on people to be systematic means that everyone must think the same way.
Weegy: 1 ) A critical spirit means you test propositions yourself before accepting them as true . [ A cynic believes that most or all things proposed are from bad or selfish motives by the proposer. 2 ) Critical thinking habits of mind are GENERALLY positive , but in the case of an imperative order to you ( Abandon Ship ! , Lie down , there is a gunman ! , Get out , the house is on fire ! ) pausing to evaluate the message would be negative . 3 ) Calling on people to be systematic merely means you want them to behave in an organised and rational way , they dont all have to think the same . 4 ) ( Trickier ... ) ------- , " ...then he or she MAY have strong critical thinking skills , or perhaps an over-confidence in their own ability in this skill ." 5 ) ( and yet Trickier ... ) ( as one of Life's "awkward bastards" I dont know quite what to suggest here -- maybe prefix what is stated with the phrase " In our society , in order to avoid being labelled as a "maverick" , it is often necessary to adhere to the position that ----- ") 6 ) delete " are able to foresee " , -- and insert " are often able to predict " . 7 ) ( this proposition is simply untrue -- the most you can say is that " People who have not taken a course in critical thinking , may not be able to critically think about things in a formal way , nor in the most effective way , nor to formulate counter-argument in an effective and structured way ") ] (More)

Yes, It must be systematic and put in order so that everything will be organize. A team which is organized can share the success to everyone and more efficiency to do certain task.

Systematic means that things need to be done according to a fixed plan or system or methodically. That does not mean everyone needs to THINK the same, they are being asked to WORK the same. Therefore calling on people to be systematic means that everybody is expected to consistently carry out their duties according to the plan or procedure.

how is stereotyping not negative?

When a minority culture forbids their members from dating/marrying people from another culture, it's not negative, because this rule is based on experience and has the sole purpose to protect it's members and particularly their children from living in incompatible cultures, as it often creates identity problems. I would say that, in such a case, stereotyping is not negative.

Although stereotypes generally have negative implications, they aren't necessarily negative. Stereotypes are basically generalizations that are made about groups. [ Such generalizations are necessary: in order to be able to interact effectively, we must have some idea of what people are likely to be like, which behaviors will be considered acceptable, and which not. They allow us to put people into a category, according to the group they belong to, and make inferences about how they will behave based on that grouping. There will still be differences between individuals from one culture, and with the same individual in different situations. But the stereotype is reasonably accurate, so it is useful. Stereotypes are only a problem when they are inaccurate, especially when those inaccuracies are negative and hostile.

Would you fake attention so that you won't hurt his/her feelings, or simply say that you are tired and would rather not hear the details? Why? Is there another way you would handle this? Explain. 2. Given the choice of "fake attention", "tell them you're too tired", or whatever plan you've suggested for question 1, which response is a more ethical choice and why?

It is more ethical to be honsest, it may hurt there feelings but in the long wrong less damage is done. The reason for this is because people are human beings with feelings, and as the old saying goes treat others the way you want to be treated.
