Question and answer
Why do you think it is important for a thesis statement to be only one declarative sentence with 25 words or fewer? Do you agree or disagree with this writing technique?
I agree with this because thesis statement is the single, specific claim that your essay supports. To read more about writing thesis statement here's a link [ [ ] ]

Weegy: A thesis statement is, frankly, as long as it needs to be. Generally, it is composed of a single sentence with two parts: the actual statement or declaration and at least three supporting statements.

What components are needed to develop a clear and concise thesis statement?
Weegy: The thesis is usually considered the most important sentence of your essay because it outlines the central purpose of your essay in one place. A good thesis will link the subject of an essay with a controlling idea. [ A thesis should be narrow in focus in order to allow the fullest exploration of its issues as possible, and it should reflect the type of paper that follows, whether it be persuasive or informative. Narrowing the focus of the thesis may require posing questions about it to yourself before committing to a final version. ] (More)

Discuss what you learned about credit in general, and what type of information is in your credit report. Be careful not to divulge confidential information about your credit; keep the discussion to the general type of information found on a credit report.
Weegy: Inquiries that do have an effect on the creditworthiness of a consumer (also known as "hard inquiries") are made by lenders when consumers are seeking credit or a loan, in connection with permissible purpose. [ Lenders, when granted a permissible purpose, as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, can "pull" a consumer file for the purposes of extending credit to a consumer. Hard inquiries from lenders directly affect the borrower's credit score. Keeping credit inquiries to a minimum can help a person's credit rating. A lender may perceive many inquiries over a short period of time on a person's report as a signal that the person is in financial difficulty, and may consider that person a poor credit risk. Credit cards that are not used - Although it is believed that having too many credit cards can have an adverse effect on a credit score, closing these lines of credit will not necessarily improve your score. Many risk models consider the difference between the amount of credit a person has and the amount being used: closing one or more accounts will reduce your total available credit, lower the percentage of available credit, and possibly lower your credit score. Risk models also factor in account age: closing an account with several years of history that is in good standing will most likely negatively affect your score. ] User: Refer to Section 6.4 of Personal Finance. Discuss some positive steps you can take to manage debt. Weegy: Step 1: Review and understand where your budget went wrong and where excess spending exists. [ Take steps now to reduce spending in those areas, even if it means avoiding certain situations that trigger overspending. Step 2: If you don't have a living budget in your Money Management Plan, prepare one now or you won't stand a chance for permanent debt relief. Step 3: If you overspent because it made you feel better, or because of other personal issues, now is the time to deal with those issues once and for all. ... (More)

How would you teach an English as a Second Language student how to use who versus whom?
Weegy: The words who and whom are both pronouns. [ I'll have a quick and dirty trick for you later, but first I want you to actually understand the right way to use these words. First, to know whether to use who or whom, we need to talk about the difference between subjects and objects because you use who when you are referring to the subject of a clause and whom when you are referring to the object of a clause. I know: subject and object sound pretty abstract, but it's easy. If we think about people, the subject of the sentence is the person doing something, and the object of the sentence is having something done to them. If I step on Squiggly, then I am the subject and Squiggly is the object. Still having a hard time remembering? Here's my favorite mnemonic: If I say, "I love you," you are the object of my affection, and you is also the object of the sentence (because I am loving you, making me the subject and you the object). How's that? I love you. You are the object of my affection and my sentence. It's like a Valentine's Day card and grammar mnemonic all rolled into one. I love you. You are the object of my affection and my sentence. It's like a Valentine's Day card and grammar mnemonic all rolled into one. Just Whom OK. So you all asked about who versus whom, but what I think you really want to know is just when to use whom, because most people don't go around throwing unneeded whoms into their sentences. So remember, you use whom when you are referring to the object of a sentence. Use who when you are referring to the subject of a sentence. For example, it is "Whom did you step on?" if you are trying to figure out that I had squished Squiggly. Similarly, it would be "Whom do I love?" because you are asking about the object -- the target of my love. ] (More)
