You should never drive though flood waters! Even if you think you can make it....DON'T! You can be whisked away faster than you think. Get to a higher safe place and stay there and listen to the weather and either take an alternate safe route or stay until the storm is over and the driving is considered safe.

Before, floods were merely water rising at a tolerable level. But with the climate change nowadays, water levels rise at unprecedented measure. It is indeed not safe to drive through rushing flood especially if the water rises rapidly. Stay safe inside your house and wait until it's over.
