Question and answer
Q: how do you fix java.net.socketexception permission denied connect on minecraft
A: First of all go to your .minecraft folder Go to the command prompt (Windows key + R) and type in appdata. Go to roaming and .minecraft, [ now make a copy of your saves folder somewhere else. Delete your .minecraft folder and restart minecraft from launcher you download from the site. It will redownload everything. Once done, put back the saves folder in the .minecraft folder and it should work
with your worlds intact. ]
