(x + 7)(x - 4) = 0;
x + 7 = 0; x = -7;

5 + 2^2 x 3 ÷ (5 - 2)

= 5 + 4 x 3 ÷ (3)

= 5 + 12 ÷ 3

= 5 + 4

= 9

The statement is false. x^0 is always equal to 1. If the exponent is 0, then you get 1.
