1 page summary of the short story toliet by gcina mhlophe
Weegy: This story is theme-driven. The idea (i.e the value statement) that things should be a particular way (and not the way they are) and it is this idea drives the thoughts and behaviour of the main character, the narrator. [ [ The reader is allowed to witness the passion, courage and resilience of a female African artist (in this case, a writer) who struggles to overcome multiple barriers (her gender, ?race? and economic class) in her attempt at artistic expression. ] ] (More)

Do you know the reasons your parents disapprove of him? If not find out why. Sometimes we as parents tend to dislike people for habits we ourselves had as younger people.

Ask your parents why they don't like your boyfriend. Ones you know their reasons, then weigh things out. Parents only want the best for their children, and most of the time, they know when it is about time to meddle on their children's relationship. Just remember how you are loved by your parents that they care so much for you :)

I would suggest that you listen to your parents. They have been where you are and are probably trying to protect you from something that you don't quite see. If this guy is worth while, than he should respect your parent's wishes and take the time to prove himself to them. If he doesn't do these things he is only affirming what they already believe. Being respectful of both you and them is very important of any guy that you are in a relationship with. Best of luck to you!
