If you are newly appointed supervisor/manager within your service and you need to update your staff handbook to reflect current employment law the three different sources of information you could use to enable you to do this are ;
1. Human Resources Team
2. Web search for ‘current employment law’,(example results: (This is the governments online resource for businesses ) )
3. ACAS - (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) This is an organisation that gives free advice to employers or employees. They can help with employment relations, give independent advice, training etc.
