[ Websites, match makers, even your best friend who gets a free drink out of the deal are all in it to, albeit thoughtfully, help you find your certain someone but in the end still wanting something out of it themselves. Some people are naturals at being able to identify a perfect couple in the making and make big bucks out of it; others just wing it to see a new couple blossom. Here are some principles I've figured out as to how to know early on if the person you are with at anytime is the one you should be with. The biggest thing you need to do is be hypercritical of yourself. Blaming the person you were dating at the time for being the reason a relationship didn't work out will only make sense a couple of times; if you've gone through about 10 dates in the past couple of months, it might... just might... be partially your fault. Now I'm not going to presume to know that it was specifically your actions that caused the downfall of any of these relationships, but it is possible that you weren't critical enough about your own preferences and strengths to realize early on enough that the relationship didn't have the basis to turn into anything of merit. Not going to say that this is your fault either, simply that it's a possible weakness that I'm looking to help you improve with this Factoid. First thing to do when you're being hypercritical of yourself is to know what you're looking for and how to categorize them. When it comes to compatibility with another person, you need to know what your levels of interest and importance of certain things.
