How many neutrons are in helium-3?
Weegy: It must be one, because yo can't call it helium unless there are 2 protons. User: How many neutrons are in carbon-14? Weegy: The mass number, in this case 14, of an isotope is simply the sum of the number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus. Because there are 6 protons in a carbon nucleus, there are 14-6 = 8 neutrons in a C-14 nucleus. (More)
