What do the choices made by the cinematographer tell you about the mood at this point within the story of "Forrest Gump"?
Weegy: Forrest Gump is very much a 'mood piece', lacking any clearly evident theme, yet purposefully evoking feelings of nostalgia in "Baby Boomers". [ The films use of a 'simple minded' character to experience popular events and moods of the 1960's, 70's, and 80's clearly was intended to abandon judgment in favor of a more 'mirrored effect'. ] (More)

In the movie of "Forrest Gump",How does the cinematography contribute to symbolism and/or metaphors in the clip ?
Weegy: I think that Forrest Gump represents his generation. Innocent, dumb, but with the right idea in mind. He's just living in a world too complicated for him. The other characters I haven't thought so much about. [ Bubba represents the young soldiers at the time, I think. Lt. Dan sort of represents the realities of war? Bubba is sort of the opposite of Dan. Bubba is very innocent and knows nothing about war, where as Lt. Dan knows everything. Bubba is happy and dumb while Lt. Dan is dark and angry. Perhaps Bubba represents the side of war that the people clueless about war see, and Lt. Dan represents the dead innocence that war really is. But that's just a guess. Jenny represents the youth of that generation. Trying to find herself, screwing up her own life, but good nevertheless. ] (More)
