The number of pounds you will lose will be dependent if in several factor. Factors to consider are the activity you do in the gym (Aerobic or anaerobic exercise), the amount of calorie you consume daily and at times, the persons comorbidity (presence of sickness example thyroid problem, diabetes).

Experts agree that the safest number of pounds to lose in a week is 2 lbs.
