Why is it inappropriate to discuss salary with co-workers?
There is no better way to commit career suicide in your office by discussing your salary with another coworker. That type of information is not needed to be known by anyone else but you and your managers and or direct supervisors and human resources. [ That is it. ]

When is the appropriate time to ask for a raise?
Weegy: This can be a tricky situation. Asking for more money is always a tough thing to do. It needs to be done with tact, otherwise all they see is a money hungry employee who is trying to leach off of the company.
