Q: How do you feel about police departments having union protection versus not having union protection?
A: There are pros and cons to police departments having union protection. Labor unions can help their members by negotiating collectively for wages and benefits that are often better than individuals could negotiate on their own. [ A con could be that strikes make union members look greedy, especially if they are in a high-earning job compared to many other workers. ]
