3.1 explain how to support others to understand the need for secure handling of information within the social care setting
One of the primary objectives of customer immersion activities is to generate new customer insights. Insights are different from just observations in that they identify the underlying behavior and thinking process of the customer. [ It is important to keep on finding new customer insights because over time, customer behaviors, needs and thinking patterns change, old insights become common
knowledge, and the company which responds to new insights the fastest is the one that gains tremendously. ]

Weegy: medication must only be handled by people with the specific training to ensure that the meddication is handled properly that the correct dosage is given and to make sure that the medication is only given to the person it is intended for. [ also a person who is not trained will not know what side effects can occour or the signs of an allergic reaction. this could lead to diciplinary action and could also lead to legal action which would give the service provider a bad reputation and could end up with the suspension of the providers licence or even the closure of the care setting. ] (More)

11.1 describe the main points of food safety standards within the social care setting
Weegy: These regulations were first introduced in 1995. [ Their aim is to make sure that food hygiene is regulated across Europe and that food poisoning is prevented by ensuring that * Food areas are kept in a clean and good condition and maintain the standards of personal hygiene; * Foods are cooked thoroughly; * Foods are kept at the appropriate temperature; * Prevention of cross-contamination is put into practice. All health and social care settings need to ensure that their kitchens meet the requirements of the regulations. For example, the care home used in the case study in P1 had a kitchen used by staff and service users. The staff and clients using the kitchen need to make sure they wear aprons and gloves at all times to ensure that cross-contamination is prevented and hygiene is promoted. There should be separate chopping boards available for raw and ready-to-eat foods in the kitchen. Good hygiene should be practiced at all times because raw/uncooked foods can come into contact with cooked foods and this can cause food poisoning. Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) 1995 ] (More)
