The slope of the line whose equation is y - 3 = 0 is 0.

y-3=0, y=3. when line perpendicular to the y-axis ,the slope is o.

when the line perpendicular to the x-axis,the slope is not existent.

The answer for 6x - 2y = 5 3x - y = 10 is it has no solution.

From 3x-y=10, we get y=3x-10

6x-2y=6x-2(3x-10)=5

6x-6x+20=5

This is not established. So it has no solution.

The answer for x + y = 6 x - y = 8 is x= 7, y= -1 .

Two equation add ,

2x=6+8

x=14/2

=7.

y=x-8

=7-8

=-1.

The slope of the line whose equation is 3x - 2y = 4 is 3/2.

3x-2y=4.

2y=3x-4

y=(3x-4)/2

y=3/2x-2.

3x-2y=4.

2y=3x-4

y=(3x-4)/2

y=3/2x-2.

The slope of the line that passes through the points (0, 0) and (-2, -3) is 3/2.

Assuming that y=ax+b, put the two point into it .

0=0+b, -3=-2a+b

b=0,a=-3/-2=3/2.

So y=3/2x. 3/2 is the slope .

Assuming that y=ax+b, put the two point into it .

0=0+b, -3=-2a+b

b=0,a=-3/-2=3/2.

So y=3/2x. 3/2 is the slope .

If a = -12/5, then 5x + 2y = 6 and 3x - ay = 4 are parallel is not correct.

If they are parallel , the slope should be the same.

5x+2y=6. y=-5/2x=3. the slope is -5/2.

3x-ay=4,3x+12/5y=4, 15x+12y=10, y= -5/4x+5/3. the slope is -5/4.

-5/2 is not equal to -5/4. So they are not parallel.
