describe the interaction patterns that you would engage in when caring for a toddler or infant.
Weegy: Two-year-old Johnny is at the door standing quietly on the red line before the caregiver has said it is time to go to lunch. Sarah gets her teddy and curls up on a cot, before the caregiver says it is naptime. [ In child care many routines are preplanned and consistent from day to day. Activities happen during the same time period in the day, such as lunch, nap, reading, or playground time. Many behavior patterns surrounding these activities are specific and always expected of the children. Because these temporal and behavioral patterns are so consistent and repetitious, they become quickly internalized. Toddlers anticipate events and learn behavioral and social patterns in child care that support and enhance their development. ] (More)

As an early childhood professional, you will also want to work to establish developmentally appropriate practices. Please describe the interaction patterns that you would engage in when caring for a toddler or infant.
Weegy: t early childhood teachers need to understand the developmental continuum of reading and writing and be skilled in a variety of strategies to assess and support individual children's development and learning across the continuum. [ At the same time teachers must set developmentally appropriate literacy goals for young children and then adapt instructional strategies for children whose learning and development are advanced or lag behind those goals. Good teachers make instructional decisions based on their knowledge of reading and writing, current research, appropriate expectations, and their knowledge of individual children's strengths and needs. ] (More)

That was my answer for your question. User: How do exploratory activities promote language acquisition in the preschooler? Weegy: Preschool experiences have an impact on a child?s language development. Young children like to talk. They come to school having had three or four years of practice talking and listening. [ [ Even children who are designated as having a language delay feel comfortable expressing their desires to the people closest to them. However, their communication skills have been limited to the home environment and its variation of extended experiences. my daughter is 10 year olds and is in girl scout and she got to do a presentation on hepatitis B for adults and children could you help her out and sent it to this email address tiyell67@live.com
Weegy: We can explain it here: The Hepatitis B Virus The Hepatitis B virus has an affinity for the liver, and enters the liver cells (called hepatocytes) when in the body. Reproduction of the virus causes death of these cells. [ The sudden death of a large number of liver cells can cause failure of the liver, and the child has deep jaundice, bleeding, and seizures, becomes unconscious, and may sometimes die. In most children, however, this acute picture is not seen. The virus multiplies slowly and persists in the body, causing slow liver damage. This state is known as the chronic carrier state, in which the person has the virus in the liver and blood, but no signs of disease. These people are infectious to others. Most children who acquire the infection at birth or soon after become chronic carriers. In contrast, adults who get the infection have an acute illness, followed by clearance of the virus. Thus protection of children by vaccination is important. How Is It Spread? The most important route in childhood is transplacental - infection transmitted to the baby across the placenta by a mother who is a chronic carrier. Almost all children infected in this way will become chronic carriers themselves. Also called vertical transmission, this route can now be interrupted by preventive measures. Another important route is via blood and blood products. Blood products are clotting factors for children with hemophilia, immunoglobulins for children with immunodeficiency disorders, etc. Children with diseases like thalassemia and hemophilia are thus at high risk for hepatitis B. Blood borne infection is now rare, owing to judicious use of blood transfusions, and testing of donors and blood. Rare routes of Hepatitis B infection in childhood are injections with unclean syringes, organ transplantation, and sexual abuse. Long Term Hepatitis B Infection As the virus multiplies, the liver cells are destroyed, causing loss of liver function. This ... (More)
