The person repeatedly uses self-induced vomiting or laxatives, diuretics, enemas, fasting, excessive exercising, or other medications to prevent weight gain. These behaviors occur on average at least twice a week for three months. The person is persistently too concerned with body shape and weight. The person does not meet the criteria of anorexia nervosa. If she or he does, ... (More)
