· What is the purpose for leaving decimal values at the end of a number? Why don't we just round everything to the nearest whole number to make it easier?

to make it more exact ans specific. there are numbers that are actually in million values. let's say 1.14 million. if you will disregard the .14 you are actually disregarding 140000
