Take it from experience, as I have experience in this matter, be direct and honest. There is no easy way to go about doing this if you are young and unmarried, they will probably be unhappy but they will get over it and eventually be happy to be welcoming another to the family. If you think they will be happy right at the start think of a fun creative way of telling them. Good luck to you!
