(f - 12)^2 = 25
f^2 - 24f + 144 - 25 = 0
f^2 - 24f + 119 = 0
(f - 17)(f - 7) = 0
f - 17 = 0; f = 17
f - 7 = 0; f = 7
f = 17 or f = 7

Solve for x. x2 = 16 A. x = 4 B. x = -4 C. x = 4 or x = -4 D. no solution
Weegy: you can not solve this equation unless you know the value of x or the final answer. User: Solve for b. (b - 3)2 = 9 A. b = 0 or b = 6 B. b = 2 C. b = 3 or b = -3 D. no solution Weegy: Solving for b from (b - 3)2 = 9 you get: b-3=4.5, then b=4.5+3=7.5. None of the answers you gave me are correct.
