Q: what are three ways you can ensure that you maintain standard measures of performance when you work in records management
A: I can give you a few starting points: 1. DICOM is the standard for medical data - a lot of information is available, although it will require someone experianced to walk you through it. 2. Other medical protocols are HIS and RIS. [ See also PACS (archiving systems) and HL7 terms. 3. HIPAA is a standard for information confidentiality. Common mainly in the states. 4.
